The 30th Colloquium is entering its next phase. Building upon the scholarly contributions and community engagement of the 2026 editorial cycle, CISSE is repositioning the in-person milestone event for mid-year 2027. The extended planning period provides an opportunity to strengthen academic, industry, government, and education partnerships while developing a program and conference experience that reflects three decades of advancing cybersecurity education.

The 30th Colloquium Repositioned for Mid-Year 2027
Additional time will allow CISSE to deliver a milestone Colloquium that fully reflects three decades of leadership in cybersecurity education and research.
The CISSE Board of Directors has decided to reposition the 30th Colloquium to Mid-Year 2027. As we mark three decades of advancing cybersecurity education and research, the Board believes this milestone deserves a program and experience that fully reflect the significance of the occasion.
The additional planning time will enable CISSE to strengthen the program, expand participation and partnerships, and create greater opportunities to showcase the scholarship, teaching, and community that have shaped the Colloquium throughout its history.
Journal publication will continue without interruption.
The repositioning of the Colloquium does not affect the Journal's editorial cycle, peer-review process, or publication schedule. Authors may continue to submit manuscripts as usual, and accepted papers will proceed through the established editorial workflow.
CISSE is currently evaluating location and venue options that will best support the scope and goals of the repositioned 30th Colloquium. The contributions and work of our scholarly community remain central to the 2027 program. Additional information regarding the location, dates, participation opportunities, and updated submission and revision timelines will be announced as planning progresses.
