On behalf of the SECCDC Gold Team, I am proud to announce the results from the 2016 Regional Competition. We had eight teams of talented students from the following institutions engaged head to head over 15 hours of grueling competition. The final scores were extremely close.

When the dust settled, the team from the University of Central Florida edged out the rest of the teams to earn their third consecutive win! A special congratulations to Dr. Thomas Nedorost and the UCF team for their victory! They will be traveling to San Antonio later this month to compete for their third National Championship. Best of Luck!

Congratulations also go to the Kennesaw State University team for their second place ranking, and the University of North Carolina, Charlotte team for their third place ranking.
