Participation Category Select one of the four categories above.
Specific Format Identify the presentation, poster, master class, walk-through, workshop, roundtable, or panel format.
Abstract 250–500 words describing the purpose, significance, approach, and relevance to the CISSE community.
Learning Objectives Two or three measurable objectives or participant takeaways.
Target Audience K–12, higher education, industry, government, or mixed.

Keywords Three to five terms describing the subject matter.
  • Learning objectives and other proposal fields are submitted separately and do not count toward the abstract word limit.

Presenters & Session Logistics

  • Presenter information: Names, professional titles, organizations, and email addresses for all proposed presenters.
  • Presenter biographies: 75–100 words per presenter.
  • Primary contact: Designate one person responsible for correspondence.
  • Preferred duration: Requested session length and flexibility to accommodate the program schedule.
  • Session approach: Lecture, demonstration, discussion, hands-on activity, or combination.

Additional Format Guidance

  • Posters: Summarize the project or teaching innovation, its current status, and what attendees will learn or discuss. A finished poster is not required at proposal stage.
  • Master Classes & Walk-throughs: Identify the course or program level, instructional or program outcomes, and a brief curriculum outline. An existing syllabus or program outline may be attached, but is not required initially.
  • Workshops & Roundtables: Explain the facilitation plan, participant activities, anticipated outcomes, and any prerequisites, software, equipment, or attendance limits.
  • Panels: Provide the moderator, proposed panelists and their invited/confirmed status, the central questions, and the perspectives represented.

Review & Presenter Expectations

Proposals will be reviewed for relevance, educational value, clarity, audience engagement, and fit within the developing program. The Program Committee may suggest adjustments to format or duration.
