Cooperative Information Assurance Capacity Building
The Maryland Alliance for Information Security Assurance (MAISA) is a consortium of 15 community colleges, colleges, and universities led by Towson University. By working collaboratively, we have been able to strengthen our information assurance education programs. We present our consortium, and describe some of our current projects and the effects that they have had on our information assurance education programs.
The Colloquium™ recognizes that the protection of information and infrastructures that are used to create, store, process, and communicate information is vital to business continuity and security. The goal of The Colloquium™ is to work together to define current and emerging requirements for information assurance education and to influence and encourage the development and expansion of information assurance curricula, especially at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
