The demand for cybersecurity professionals has increased substantially over the last 5 years. There are 2.5M open positions globally, and 16,000 open positions in North Carolina cited by the department of labor. North Carolina Central University (NCCU) has designed a concentration in Cybersecurity that encompasses skills and competencies that will allow students to be very competitive in industry. Our business partners seek our students for internships in addition to careers in technology / cybersecurity. Students learn to ethically hack, perform digital forensic investigations, defense and countermeasure technique and other related skills. Student will become more competitive upon completion of the concentration in cybersecurity at NCCU School of Business, Computer Information Systems Department.
