Abstracts for accepted academic papers submitted to the 24th Colloquium are available below. We are currently evaluating research papers to be considered for publication in our bi-annual Journal of The Colloquium for Information System Security Education. For more information, or to communicate with our editorial team, please email email@example.com.
The Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education is hosting two days of FREE online seminars this November. This will be the first of a series of remote events for members, with the initial offering open to past conference attendees and guests. For event information, please click here.
As previously announced, the 24th Colloquium will adopt an on-line format this Fall 2020, with voting privileges extended until 2021 to members who attended the 23rd Colloquium (2019). Session dates for Fall sessions have been announced, with program details to follow shortly. As the program develops, this is an excellent opportunity to introduce the candidates vying for a three year term to serve on CISSE's Board of Directors.
The Colloquium Board has been working on not only our 2021 conference, but also a series of online seminars for this Fall, where authors whose new papers were selected for our 2020 Colloquium Journal will have the opportunity to present their papers and field questions from the attendees.
In 2000, The Founders Award was the first award given by The Colloquium to a nationally recognized "thought leader" and practitioner of Information Security education. Eleven years later, The Colloquium has expanded award recognition to honor cybersecurity leaders across Industry, Government and Academia.
Once a year, colleges that offer studies in cyber security, including those schools designated as Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Security, gather to discuss innovations and advancements in the field, and how this affects the preparation of their students for cyber careers.
The 24th Colloquium, scheduled for June 14-17 in Baltimore, has been canceled; however, we will continue to accept papers (only) for review for inclusion in our annual Journal publication. In light of the circumstances, we are extending the submission date until April 30, 2020 in order to accommodate those who may have been waiting to see how events played out with the meeting.
