Bruce D. Waugh was the recipient of many awards and certificates, including the Community Fabric Award for Leadership in Education and the Craven Community College in Teaching Award. Bruce was the leader of Craven Community Computer Tech Team and competed in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition as well as Nationals. In addition, Bruce was a member of the Craven Community College Chorus and was involved in many plays and performances with the Harbour Light Players.
The Colloquium™ recognizes that the protection of information and infrastructures that are used to create, store, process, and communicate information is vital to business continuity and security. The goal of The Colloquium™ is to work together to define current and emerging requirements for information assurance education and to influence and encourage the development and expansion of information assurance curricula, especially at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
