Cybersecurity Education Champion Needed - ICT Deputy Sector Navigators

Are you ready to use your expertise to give back to the educational system of California?

IT Professionals Wanted to help the CA Community College Information Communication Technology Sector throughout CA: Los Angeles (2) , Bay Region (2) and San Diego (1)

We are looking for experienced IT and Cybersecurity professionals who can bridge the gap between business, industry and the education system with insight and persuasive skills.

Your experience, determination and creative skills will all be needed in this proactive role which includes working with California Community College faculty, students, administration, local business, industry as well as the high School CyberPatriot program

The CA Community Colleges Doing What Matters Program is providing a limited number of grants for subject matter experts in certain high growth sectors of the economy for the purpose of helping the colleges in the region respond to the changing needs in technology training. This regional role, called a Deputy Sector Navigator, has openings in the Bay Region, LA, Orange County, and San Diego. You must live in the region to apply.

The Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector includes IT Networking, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Applications Software and Digital Media. We support the efforts of all students to have access and achieve careers in IT and the related disciplines.

The mid-range management salary for this grant funded assignment varies by host college and expenses are covered for in Region travel. This grant is open now and expires Oct 31, 2019 with one-year renewals up to 4 more years.
