23rd Colloquium - Call for Presentations

CISSE is seeking formal presentations for our 2019 annual education conference, to be held June 10-12th , 2019 at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas, NV.

Presentation submissions are due January 15, 2019, please submit to

CISSE underwrites the efforts of cybersecurity educators, researches and practitioners to propose presentations that discuss relevant and useful knowledge, trends, tips and tools that are useful to cyber security educators.

Developing Cybersecurity Education

This track features ideas and innovations that may be employed to identify, recruit, and educate the future cybersecurity workforce. Sessions will include original programs or practices to underwrite the development of the next generation of STEM and cybersecurity workers.


Local, regional, or national collaborations that focus on creative ways in which industry and government can work with academia to increase the number of students in the cybersecurity education and career pipeline.

Other areas of focus or Mini-tracks

Research, Author’s Corner, Tenure, Articulations, Community College, Women & Minorities, and K-12

Submission deadline is January 15, 2018

The Colloquium recognizes that the protection of information and infrastructures that are used to create, store, process, and communicate information is vital to business continuity and security. The Colloquium's goal is to work together to define current and emerging requirements for information assurance education and to influence and encourage the development and expansion of information assurance curricula, especially at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
