In a time when community colleges play an increasing role in the prosperity of cybersecurity education, 2-year institutions must seek innovative approaches in strengthening their contributions through community awareness, use of funding to increase quality of cybersecurity coursework and ability to articulate, and develop standardized course delivery that match nationally recognized common course outcomes.

The Southern Nevada Cybersecurity Alliance (or SNCA) is a community initiative, intended to unite and leverage the combined cybersecurity skills of the local chapters of (ISC)², ISACA, ISSA, AITP, Infragard and the Las Vegas CISO Group. Information sharing forms the cornerstone of the SNCA knowledge base. Our members come from a diverse variety of enterprise security roles, not to mention Government, Law Enforcement and Military.
